David L. Wulkan M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Wulkan is the co-founder of Boca Vein Care, and has been practicing Vascular and General Surgery in Boca Raton for over 20 years. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his post graduate training in General and Vascular Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr Wulkan specializes in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, General Surgery and the treatment of varicose veins. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by the ARDMS as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). Dr Wulkan serves academically as a Voluntary Faculty member at the University of Miami/Miller School of Medicine as well as Clinical Assistant Professor of Biomedical Science at the Florida Atlantic University Regional Campus of the University of Miami/Miller School of Medicine. He is an active member of the Department of Surgery at Boca Raton Community Hospital and has served as President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Department and also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Boca Raton Community Hospital. He is also an active member of the medical staff at Delray Medical Center. Dr Wulkan is a member of the American College of Surgeons, The Florida Vascular Society, The Society For Vascular Surgery, The Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, The International Society of Endovascular Specialists, and the Society For Vascular Ultrasound..
