Andrew S. Ross

Andrew S. Ross, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.S.C.R.S.
Dr Andrew Ross obtained his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, in Ithaca New York, and his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He completed his Internship in Surgery at Tufts New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr Ross completed his General Surgery Residency at North Shore University Hospital, of Cornell University Medical College in Manhasset New York. Dr. Ross also completed a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Rutgers Medical School, Robert Woods Johnson Medical Center, in Piscataway, New Jersey. He is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and Board Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Ross specializes in Colon and Rectal Surgery with special expertise in Minimally Invasive Colon and Rectal Surgery, as well as the emerging field of Robotic Surgery. He has been practicing in Boca Raton for the past 23 years.
Dr Ross is an active member of the Department of Surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and Delray Medical Center. He is President of the Medical Staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and the former Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Delray Medical Center. Dr. Ross is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Florida Atlantic University regional campus of the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami.
He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon Rectal Surgeons, Florida Medical Association, Palm Beach County Medical Society, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the E.P. Salvati Society.
